Position Summary

The Beauty Therapist is responsible for delivering high‑quality waxing, skincare, and spa treatments while ensuring exceptional guest care and safety. This role includes assessing guest needs, identifying contraindications, recommending appropriate treatments, and promoting home‑care products. The Beauty Therapist maintains treatment rooms, adheres to hygiene and safety protocols, and supports overall spa operations by maintaining professionalism and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

·  Provide professional beauty and spa treatments, including waxing and skincare services, in accordance with brand standards and guest needs.
·  Conduct thorough consultations by assessing skin condition, identifying contraindications, and determining the most suitable treatment options.
·  Educate guests on proper skincare routines and recommend appropriate retail products and home‑care regimens.
·  Promote and sell spa services and retail offerings to enhance guest wellbeing and drive revenue.
·  Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a seamless spa experience.
·  Prepare and maintain clean, well‑organized treatment rooms by setting up equipment, products, and supplies before each service.
·  Clean, sanitize, and properly store all tools and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
·  Adhere to scheduled treatment times, manage appointments efficiently, and maintain accurate service records.
·  Professionally manage inappropriate guest behavior by ceasing the service and informing the supervisor/manager immediately.
·  Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete required training and certifications.
·  Maintain professional grooming, communication, and conduct; support teamwork and uphold quality standards.
·  Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

·  Diploma in Beauty & Spa Therapy or equivalent formal training.

Preferred:

·  Minimum 1 year of experience in a spa, salon, or beauty therapy environment.
·  Strong knowledge of skincare, waxing techniques, and professional beauty products.
·  Excellent consultation and communication skills with the ability to build guest trust.
·  Ability to maintain high hygiene standards and follow safety protocols.
·  Strong customer‑service mindset, sales ability, and a warm, professional personality.
·  Must have legal working rights in Fiji.
