DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

 

·  Logistics Warehouse Cost Control (Warehouse)
·  Supervise all of a FC daily activities while working to maximize efficiency and minimize staff overtime
·  Create and Manage Warehouse Staff Rosters
·  Analise logistics data to increase productivity and aid in loss prevention
·  Implementing operational policies and procedures
·  Manage inventory control and quality assurance, productivity and logistics
·  Implementing and overseeing security operations
·  Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
·  Ensuring the safety of staff
·  Motivating and disciplining staff
·  Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
·  Assisting with deliveries where required
·  Manage adhoc reporting and analysis requests from Operations group
·  Reporting / Cost control on project implementations
·  Audit Requirements

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

ESSENTIAL:

·  Have the relevant business experience
·  Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
·  Previous experience working in an analytical capacity
·  Customer service skills and relationship building
·  Time management, organisational and administration skills
·  Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
·  Knowledge of SAP and BW system
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  Working knowledge of import/export procedures & customs requirements
·  Demonstration of the following personal characteristics/behaviours:

·  Previous relevant experience in similar role and/or work environment/industry

PREFERRED: Knowledge of SAP, Advanced Excel
