JOB SCOPE:

To ensure an adequate transportation service level from carriers keeping the costs within budget.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Secure lenses availability at destination via a strict respect of delivery agreements
·  Monitor transporters performance within each country in EMEA region
·  Maintain relationship and communication with carriers and local transport team
·  Follow up implementation of specific request from each subsidiary toward the carrier
·  Lead weekly meetings with carriers and ensure the execution of subsidiaries requests
·  Report weekly and monthly distributors performance to management, and provide root/cause analysis if target not reached (95%)
·  Conduct cost and service analysis to assess new quotations viability
·  Maintain a close relationship with country transportation and customer care teams to know their transportation requirements
·  Manage incidents and update the standard operation procedures accordingly
·  Propose the improvement actions to optimize transportation service and costs in the network

 
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:

·  Bachelor / Master degree with 2-3 years of professional experience.
·  Relevant experience in the similar role (road transport and distribution) and related contract terms
·  Experience in warehousing operations handling and packaging ; in the customer service delivery and Order-to-Deliver process
·  MS Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook)
·  Fluent French & English
·  Result oriented person
·  High level communication skills
·  Proactivity and problem solving attitude to improve current business processes
·  Reactivity to solve urgent daily issues
