GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Manager – Revenue Cycle Management position leads Team Vision, Rosin and Triangle Vision Managers and their assigned practices to accurately bill medical and routine vision insurance claims and maximize collection.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Lead the billing managers in establishing and driving KPI performance including but not limited to unbilled claims, unapplied cash and insurance and patient aging balances.
·  Lead the billing managers to ensure that billing and cash application is current to acceptable KPI levels at month end.
·  Provide month end reporting of AR insurance and patient aging balances and other KPI reporting.
·  Oversee managers to ensure billers meet agreed upon performance standards in both productivity and accuracy. Proactively coach direct reports to develop remediation plans when billers do not meet standards.
·  Lead billing integration of future Team Vision acquisitions. Partner with managers to evaluate billing talent in future practices and work with Director to determine when to add billing resources.
·  Communicate Team Vision goals and expectations to managers. Communicate status and progress toward achieving goals to the Director.
·  Develop a staffing plan to share resources across practices when needed.
·  Identify opportunities to maximize practice profitability by developing reporting that supports analysis of claim billing/collection and recommend improvements to Team Vision practices.
·  Guide managers in resolving processing issues and escalate systemic issues.
·  Maintain effective and on-going communication with Team Vision Operations management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
·  5+ years of experience in a data processing/operations environment
·  3+ years of supervisory experience
·  Analytical, critical thinking skills with emphasis on root-cause analysis
·  Strong coaching and mentoring skills
·  Excellent Excel skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·  Health industry background or knowledge
·  Positive influencing and collaboration skills at all levels, including executive leadership
·  Strong project management skills
·  Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
·  Specific software, industry, previous role experience

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
