GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr Manager - Implementation leads the implementation of Strategic Partner and Large Client implementations. Responsibilities include participating in sales process, developing project scope and deliverables, managing project timeline, navigating client organization to ensure proper levels of project support, drive cross-functional support in defining and building new lines of business and processes.  The Sr Manager will develop business processes to support long-term administration for the client and EyeMed, minimizing organizational costs and business impacts.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Provide consultative support to the Sales team for business opportunities, provide subject matter expertise of administrative and operational best practices and knowledge of constituent experience.
·  Develop implementation strategies for new clients and new lines of business.
·  Participate in exploratory discussions with client and finalist presentations.
·  Manage and coordinate with the Client’s project manager to meet defined deliverables. This includes developing project plan to implement various lines of business, including new membership and transitioning existing business; managing internal cross-funtional resources to deliver administrative/operational solutions; escalation of non-standard requests to determine organizational support and drive the delivery of all project milestones and tasks.
·  Facilitate discovery sessions with clients and internal cross functional experts to identify and understand client requirements.
·  Use consultative approach to drive client to EyeMed standard requirements and business practices.
·  Support, monitor and ensure success of end-to-end testing and non-standard processes, including Provider Recruitment efforts, Customer Service training and business transition activities to support product rollout.
·  Provide timely communication of project status to Operations and Sales leadership, including offering solutions to issues and risks for decisioning.
·  Ensure post-implementation success of all deliverables. Drive for solutions if a process isn’t functioning as expected, manage completion of items still in process at go-live. Facilitates post-go live rapid response cross functional meetings.
·  Works cross-functionally and with Leadership team to address non-standard requests from clients including gap identification and driving discussions to solution.
·  Develop training documentation to support new administrative processes and/or new functionality; provide training support to other Implementation resources and cross-functional teams.
·  Identify, lead and implement department and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
·  8+ years of experience in Client Operations or Implementations
·  3+ years Project Management experience
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills with across all levels, including Executive Leadership team, Sales team, Cross Functional teams and externally with clients and brokers.
·  Solid knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·  MBA
·  Healthcare implementation experience
·  Knowledge of vision benefits/insurance industry, specifically Medicare and Medicaid
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
