ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB

 

As Responsible Sourcing Head you will bring expertise to develop and execute the global Responsible Sourcing strategy in close alignment with key relevant Functions, managing the EssilorLuxottica's Responsible Sourcing program at global level.

Moreover, you will support CSR and Product Sustainability to implement the Corporate Sustainability strategy throughout the Supply Chain. You will also support Risk Management, Compliance, Asset Protection and EH&S to implement the Corporate plans through the suppliers.

The role can be flexibly based at European level (e.g. Milan, Paris).

 

Here the main responsibilities you will have:

 

•    Manage the requests coming from business and licensors about supply chain sustainability and compliance within a cross-functional team (R&D, Product, Marketing, Sustainability, Legal, EH&S, Compliance, Internal Audit, …).
•    Manage the tools to assess and monitor the Supplier compliance to EL ESG requirements (e.g. Ecovadis, auditing program. …), including the preparation of the annual audit program for suppliers with third-party auditors and internal parties.
•    Drive the execution of the periodical assessment and follow-up in coordination with third-party auditors and internal parties.
•    Manage the relationship with third-party auditors.
•    Review and update the Supplier charter and ensure it is communicated to suppliers.
•    Collaborate with the Compliance department on the update of regulatory requirements (e.g. Conflict Minerals) and Code of Conduct 
•    Manage the training program and information initiatives for spreading ELRS principles and methodology throughout the organization and suppliers.
•    Ensure the periodical review and update of the ELRS audit check-list to incorporate any development of the norms and regulations (e.g.“Devoir de vigilance” in France) as well as best practices in terms of human right and sustainability initiatives.
•    Chair the periodical Steering Committees and prepare the material to update the Executive management about Responsible Sourcing programs (e.g. ELRS Steering Committee)

•    Participate to the definition of SBTi and Eye on The Planet initiatives for the supply chain to become the EL standards.
•    Engage suppliers on EL SBTi and Eye on The Planet initiatives driving the implementation and follow-up program through the Suppliers (scope 3 focus)
•    Collect and validate the supply chain data and all relevant information/commentary for the preparation of the Corporate non-financial statement.
•    Support the Product Sustainability roadmap via identification and implementation of sustainable materials and processes with suppliers.
•    Part of a cross- functional team (RS, RM, and Sustainability) for the execution and management of SBTi and Eye on The Planet initiatives.

•    Participate to the consolidation of Supplier Risk assessment, as a main reference for the Sourcing function.
•    Collaborate to the update of risk assessment criteria for the Supplier base
•    Ensure the monitoring of Suppliers RM, Compliance and EHS via the execution of the periodical assessments.
•    Coordination of the due diligence through the supply chain for Conflict Minerals requirement.
•    Support Compliance to enhance the sanctions screening, export control and integrity checks, as well as training of suppliers in sensitive areas or geographies.
•    Support RM and Legal in assuring compliance with licenses, retail and wholesale sustainable needs.
•    Ensure the on-going monitoring of emerging global regulatory requirements associated with supply chains to ensure those requirements are properly addressed. 
 

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

 

We are searching for a candidate with these key characteristics:

 

·  Master Degree in Engineering or Economics; MBA is a plus
·  Proficient using MS Office; SAP is a plus
·  Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
·  Strong attitude to cooperate with internal and external networks and to coordinate cross-functional teams, with remarkable relational soft skills and highly focused on team work
·  Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
·  Communication and negotiation skills, as well as supplier relationship management
·  Project management experience
·  Leadership approach that encourages team spirit.
