GENERAL FUNCTION
The Materials Handler 1 performs Cycle Counts and adjustments to monitor and maintain an accurate statement of on-hand inventory and provides accuracy of Distribution Center processes by conducting audits of processes and associates within all phases of Distribution as needed.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Audits areas and processes as required determining associate and process accuracy.
·  Verifies outbound shipment accuracy to stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
·  Performs cycle counts including initial counts, recounts, and researches discrepancies.
·  Performs Inventory adjustments and write-offs as required.
·  Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·  High School Diploma or GED
·  6+ months experience in a distribution center environment
·  Detail Oriented
·  Flexible and able to multi-task
·  Strong communication skills
·  Microsoft Word and Excel
·  Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
·  Ability to work independently
·  Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
·  Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·  Experience with AS400 and SAP
