GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager - Mechanical Engineer will be responsible in designing, testing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems and components. The Manager will work collaboratively with Store Development team to drive innovation, solve complex electrical challenges, and ensure the highest product quality. Role will be responsible for overseeing systems installation, operation, and maintenance, utilizing strong technical skills as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
·  Build and test prototypes to evaluate and validate design concepts. Analyze test results, identify issues, and propose optimization solutions.
·  Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installation or operation. Provide support for root cause analysis and corrective actions..
·  Ensure compliance with safety standards, relevant industry standards, codes, and electrical design and implementation regulations.
·  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and timelines, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
·  Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions
·  Leads project meetings with brand partners, designers and outside agencies.
·  Drives post mortem on projects for closure and learning.
·  Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
·  Designing and developing prototypes
·  Analyzing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
·  Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
·  Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
·  Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·   Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering degree from an accredited school.
·  Licensed as a professional engineer.
·  Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
·  Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
·  Proficient in design and calculation software.
·  Excellent project management skills, computer skills and communications skills
·  Superior functional excellence and organizational skills
·  Willingness to work off hours or days when required by project needs
·  Excellent problem-solving abilities

​Pay Range: 102,617.65  - 146,051.66 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
