A Logistics Engineer is a professional who is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems that optimize all aspects of the logistics process. Logistics Engineers analyze data and processes to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. They work closely with the operator and supervisor to ensure that logistics processes are running smoothly and efficiently. Logistics Engineers is required to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also have a solid understanding of logistics processes, planning, and quality control.
My day at EssilorLuxottica:
• Monitor and evaluate logistics process performance, identifying areas for improvement. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity, accuracy, and efficiency and able to defined gaps/variation with action plan.
• Manage, Control, Analyze and improve all logistics process in order to achieve target / KPI as planned.
• Manage usage of company resource to be more proper and efficiency (man, material, machine, methodology and money)
• Implement and maintain effective of logistics operation to ensure all the process are efficiency.
• Standardization of new business flow and execution implementation alignment with Operational team.
• Analyzing physical and system flows and envision, propose and deploy improvement actions to increase operations smoothness, speediness and flexibility.
Must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineer or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics operation, Project management is preferable.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP background.
• Have experience to drawing and design production flow and process management.
• Good diagnostic, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive communication skills and People collaboration is must.
• Systematic thinking, good analytics, self-motivation and highly responsibility
