Position: GLI Industrial Vision Engineer

Location: Ladkrabang, Bangkok

Mission - Purpose of the job:

 

Contribute to the development and support of technologies including Industrial vision in relationship with engineering experts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·  Install the vision solution in Labs and Plants (Example: vision software for lenses product control, cosmetic inspection or expertise, industrial machines…) and ensure support level 1.
·  Train the local teams to use vision systems and related equipment.
·  Collect feedback and improvement needs.
·  Support the test and pilot to validate the technologies:Ensure the installation and settings
·  Follow the tests and collect data
·  Ensure the communication between local teams and development experts
·  Contribute to the resolution of technical issues during the tests/ Pilot
·  Contribute to the continuous improvement of the solutions: identify and propose actions, lead the tests and validation in link with vision experts.

Requirements:

·  Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
·  Knowledge in Optics related to industrial vision (camera sensors, images treatment principle…).
·  Knowledge of production information systems, machine software basics and databases management.
·  Autonomous, learning on the fly capability and mastering problem-solving approaches.
·  Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills. Team spirit and good listening abilities.
·  Curious to learn about processes and products to understand the applications of technical solutions.
·  Must be able to use English as working language for verbal and written.
