About the role
Following the EssilorLuxottica combination, we have created in 2022 an integrated EMEA Indirect Procurement organization covering EssilorLuxottica and in 2023 also Grand Vision entities in EMEA. The whole EMEA Indirect Spend Team is composed by 30 people, covering a spend of 1,5Bn€ across the main category pillars: G&A, Marketing and Trade Marketing, IT and Telco, Store Design & Construction.
You will join EMEA G&A (General & Administrative) Indirect Procurement team, representing close to 750 M€ annual spend and multiple categories as HR, Travels and Fleet, Professional Services, Legal and Facility Management. It’s an international team of 10 people based in different locations in Europe.
You will manage your G&A categories with responsibilities within the geographical cluster Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), developing and implementing regional and local sourcing strategies, managing regional agreements, supplier relationships, identifying synergies opportunities between Essilor, Luxottica and Grand Vision entities while working closely with the Global Category Manager to support strategy definition and implement global agreements in the sub region. You will engage and manage relations with global, regional and local internal stakeholders supporting business decision with procurement analysis.
You will be accountable for 75 M€ spend baseline management including over 500 stores related indirect spend within the Benelux Cluster.
The role requires procurement leadership, strong autonomy and accountability on managing the entire sourcing process, including related financials, KPIs and business cases, planning and executing stakeholders initiatives, tenders, agreements and working jointly on more strategic business scenarios.
Key role accountabilities:
· Within the full G&A category portfolio, the profile will be appointed as directly accountable for:
· around 75 M€ spend baseline including over 500 stores in the sub region
· main G&A categories: Facility Management, Travels and Fleet, Professional Services, HR services, Utilities, Store Supply
· the scope covers all Essilor, Luxottica and Grand Vision perimeter, including all retail banners, all Wholesales facilities and all Operations/Laboratories sites
· Build regional category baseline, define and implement regional sourcing strategies and roadmap aligning with Global Category Manager and stakeholders, to ensure governance model with relevant KPIs
· Identify synergies opportunities and optimize contract performance through managing cost levers and stakeholder expectations (pricing, demand, policy, consumption model, process, standardization)
· Establish Regional contractual and business relationships with vendors, monitor compliance based on EL integration needs,
· Identify, engage and develop category stakeholder relationships, enhancing EL procurement and budgeting centralization and governance
· Influence and drive business decisions contributing with procurement capabilities and analysis, supporting controlling on cost analysis and business case scenarios
· Lead regional category projects in terms of technical and procurement role and responsibilities, being responsible for document preparation and presentation to C-level and on key procurement activity output
· Coordinate with local entities in each of the Countries setting the proper guidelines for project deployment and, within the assigned area of responsibilities, both on strategic and operational Procure to Pay (P2tP) related needs, will actively support and address activity closure
· Lead a sustainable saving plan, according to the target received on assigned area of responsibility, tracking and reporting savings and KPI’s
· Facilitate knowledge and best practices sharing within the Team

Your profile:
· Master’s degree preferably in Business or Engineering
· Solid experience in Procurement with Category Management at regional or global level in multinational environment
· Legal aspects knowledge (work on commercial contracts)
· Basic finance understanding (e.g.: P&L structure, CAPEX, OPEX)
· Vendor management activities understanding (scoring model)
· Capacity to lead complex sourcing optimization projects in an international environment with a certain degree of complexity into the management of internal stakeholders (Integration underway of Grand Vision 4 B€ retail business inside the new Essilorluxottica, combining wholesale and retail activities)
· Analytical skills
· Fluent French & English
· Autonomous and proactive approach
· Very good communication & persuasion skills
· Agility & readiness to deal with a changing & dynamic work environment

· SAP knowledge
