This position will play a key role for monthly closing, reporting, cash control, compliance and process improvement. The position will report to Finance Director and supervise 2 accounting staff members.  Although the position will supervise staff, she/ he needs to be a playing manager and “hands on” operation is required. You will work closely with the Controlling team (FP&A) and Procurement Manager in Finance, Headquarter Finance, Internal / External auditors, professional tax firms, and financial institutions to complete tasks.

 

·  Hands on Monthly closing - main responsibility is to review GL and cost accounting / inventory.
·  Check and review monthly financial package and correspond to Headquarter Finance
·  Balance sheet reconciliation review
·  Cash flow management, including contacting financial institutions for financing and communicating with APAC treasury.
·  Analyze inventory including appropriate reserve accrual and revaluation.
·  Review all the monthly accrual from various departments.
·  File all required reports by tax and commercial laws.
·  Apply in a timely manner tax/accounting new regulations.
·  Keep SOX compliance for all business cycles.
·  Identify process improvement opportunity and plan the execution.
·  Supervise the local accounting staff.
·  Have a strong relationship with Global Shared Service Team.
·  M&A experience preferred (accounting migration)
