Responsibilities

Drive product management activities at our engine development and production site in Bulle (Switzerland), collaborate closely with product management team in Colmar (France) and report to Head of Product Management (Combustion Engines Business Unit)
Manage product portfolio and lifecycle process in all diesel and gas engine applications from market analysis to product out-phasing
Set up strategic product program planning, including the product management roadmap, in close partnership with your manager, colleagues and other strategic internal partners in sales and technical management functions
Conduct market and competition analyses (benchmarking) and analyse upcoming trends and product technologies (scouting and technology radar)
Develop successful market entry strategies for new products and ensure product profitability by defining targeted costs and target margin values
Lead the requirement management process for new product development projects and ensure compliance with current and future emission stages accross the entire engine portfolio
Support or lead new product development projects in pre-project phase regarding technical and commercial feasibility and business case calculations

Requirements

Master Degree in technical field and/or business administration and in-depth experience within the diesel (and gas) off-highway engine business
Several years experience and proven track record in product management positions within a matrix organisation in international environment
Business Administration knowledge in costing and calculation, strong entrepreneurial attitude and strategic mindset combined with hands-on approach and excellent intercultural skills
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory; fluency in German and/or French would be highly advantageous, willingness to travel on the job is required to a certain extent
High degree of autonomy and flexibility, strong analytical and conceptual skills, outstanding communication and networking capabilities, team player mentality
