Responsibilities

Managing overall process for emission compliance, monitoring legislative obligations and implement all applicable requirements
Leading the implementation of processes to ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable emission legislations
Audit of processes and internal departments related to compliance and drive corrective actions & continuous improvements
Supporting sister plants for implementation of activities/processes to ensure compliance & follow-up to ensure implementation
Cooperation and communication with international type approval authorities for engine certification
Study of international emission legislation and international travelling for emission measurements and conferences

Requirements

University degree in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive or combustion technology
Professional experience in the field of engine/ vehicle type approval and emission legislation
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding emission legislations
Fluency in English, very good knowledge in German and French are highly preferable
Resourceful, structured and precise working style, flexibility, teamplayer attitude, high sens of responsibility and willingness to travel
