OVERVIEW:
Designs and produces creative for site updates and online marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide design and production support for site updates
• Source images in support of online creative
• Understand the creative and marketing objectives for each project assigned
• Work with Art Directors and Web Design team to extend and optimize Web functionality, site architecture, user interface and navigation
• Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met
• Produce, optimize and output final Web-ready digital artwork in support of site updates
• Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sophisticated sense of design/style
• Strong design fundamentals (type, image, color)
• Ability to translate complex design challenges into clear, customer-friendly experiences
• Working understanding of Web best practices
• Discerning eye for photo editing, cropping, and compositing
• Collaborative, inclusive and flexible team member
• Resourceful self-starter who gets things done
• Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills required
• Ability to use a Mac
• Ability to input data into a computer
• Must be able to operate keyboard and mouse simultaneously
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Graphic design or social media internship experience a plus
• Proven talent in graphic and interactive design
• Complete mastery of advanced Photoshop, with strong photo compositing skills
• 2-3 years Web design experience
• Retail/fashion design and/or ecommerce experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Indesign and Illustrator
• Proficiency in web optimization. HTML knowledge a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specify Photoshop
