The Regional Visual Manager is responsible for building Visual Merchandising skill and capability within Field Leadership and direct reports to deliver a consistent, branded emotional experience within their respective territory (8-10 business partners, 2-4 direct reports and upwards of $500M in annual volume). 

This role sets the pace and enables superior execution of Visual Merchandising strategies within their assigned territory to positively impact overall business results through the use of the Visual Merchandising lever. This is accomplished through structured training efforts amongst Field Leadership and direct reports. 

The Regional Visual Manager will lead and enable a comprehensive Visual Merchandising training program. This is achieved through the ability to effectively gain consensus and alignment with stakeholders by building relationships, collaborating and influencing key business partners. 
This role consistently demonstrates the proven ability to develop and retain top talent. 

Responsibilities  

Builds Talent 

·  Build Field Leadership Visual Merchandising skill and capability through the execution of a comprehensive Field Visual training platform
·  Conduct effective store visits and training workshops. Reinforces the execution of superior Brand standards
·  Facilitate quarterly learning agenda for floor set implementation, interpretation & sustainment 
·  Identify and assess visual talent. Networks externally and builds an internal bench to maintain a strong pool of candidates 
·  Influence hiring decisions at the DM level pertaining to Visual Merchandising skill set 
·  Actively participate in the talent selection and on-boarding process of Store Leadership 
·  Engage with leadership to provide talent insight, including participation in OLR 
·  Lead and coach a team of Visual Market Managers. Assess strengths and developmental opportunities including merchandising capability. Provides timely and specific feedback 
·  Motivate and inspire team by setting clear goals and providing consistent recognition 

Builds the Brand 
·  Work directly with respective Regional Managers to create and communicate a consistent Brand experience across territory 
·  Influence Field Leadership to understand and leverage Visual Merchandising impact conversion, maximize overall business results and customer experience. Actively seeks market specific opportunities to drive localized decision making 
·  Understand seasonal growth strategies. Ensure timely dissemination of information 
·  Participate in critical floor sets with key business partners; provide time-sensitive feedback, ideas and solutions to ensure an elevated customer experience and financial ROI 
·  Partner with Field Leadership to effectively plan and execute floor set activities to effective execution and sustainment 
·  Provide feedback, solutions and insights on Visual Merchandising strategies to Home Office. Support merchandising direction & implementation of strategies 
Build on-going knowledge of current industry trends to remain relevant within industry 

Builds Capabilities 
·  Drive and execute strategic and Visual Merchandising training platform
·  Partner with Field Leadership to execute actionable plans that will improve business through the use of the Visual Merchandising Lever. Analyze critical reporting to influence overall business results
·  Partner with Visual Communications team to impact overall effectiveness of Visual Merchandising tools
·  High influencer of key home office business partners with regards to current Visual Merchandising strategy
·  Share best practices and industry benchmarking ideas
·  Understand how merchandise flow standards/backroom organization effect floor set cycle, and the overall customer experience
Qualifications

·  BA in Marketing, Design or Technical/Liberal Arts equivalent 
·  5-7 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising/Presentation or marketing, preferably with a leading fashion specialty retailer or brand. 
·  1-3 years retail management experience, including multi-store capacity 
·  Visual Merchandising and Presentation skills including the ability to interpret brand direction 
·  Ability to leverage computer skills; familiarity with Creative Suites preferred 
·  Ability facilitate learning in both a store and classroom environment 
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
·  Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively 
·  Proven ability to ideate and problem solve 
·  Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and remotely 
·  Previous experience leading and coaching direct reports including establishing performance objectives, individual career development support and coaching for success 
·  Strong organizational and analytical skills.
