Urban Decay Cosmetics is seeking a Finance Intern (12 Month Program) to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.

                                                                                                               

 

POSITION PURPOSE

The Finance Intern position will be responsible for providing support and assistance in the financial management of advertising, marketing, and operating expenses for the Urban Decay brand. Overall support will focus on assisting the finance team in driving reporting and supporting processes/systems related to monthly close, trend, and budget. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating/updating/tracking key reports and systems input to track actuals, support financial/accounting close, and help build trend/budget.

J OB RESPONSIBILITIES

 
·  Provide support and assistance in preparation, analysis and transmission of a variety of divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements, i.e. budgets, balance sheets, budget spreads, P&L statements
·  Participate in actuals review/budget meetings with departmental managers to gain understanding of different finance and business related topic
·  Build knowledge and actively contribute to financial processes and deliverables
·  Own updating key reports and system inputs in support of deliverables and management of advertising, marketing, and operating expenses
·  Build relationship and liaison with key business stakeholders in finance and accounting to support and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes
·  Review and evaluate the accuracy and completeness of internal finance reports
·  Participates in cross-functional efforts to achieve reporting and process deadlines
