Job description

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L’Oréal is a strategic consulting and analytics function within the company’s Consumer Products Division. RGM works across brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, NYX Professional Makeup, and MAGIC to help understand market and consumer dynamics and drive profitable growth. Team members come from varying backgrounds including market research, analytics, finance, and marketing but share a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations. Common work includes consulting with upper management on strategic business decisions, promotional and ROI analysis, price format strategy analysis, attribution modeling, and dashboard / tool development.

 

Key Job Accountabilities

Under the supervision of the RGM lead,

-Conducts RGM analyses based on internal & external, financial and not financial data  with the multifunctional team (marketing/brand team, commercial, BD, Finance, CMI) for all RGM levers (Pricing, Format Strategy, Mix Management, Promotion Management, Trade Terms Management)
-Influences RGM related business decisions by developing a superior understanding of  retailers’ dynamics, value drivers and consumer/shopper insights
-Drives the implementation of the identified RGM initiatives to realize incremental Sales and Gross Profit for the CPD
-Implementing an automatized and standardized dashboard to constantly track and follow-up on RGM related business KPI’s. Escalates regularly internally if any initiative is off track. 

Professional & Technical Skills

-3~5 years of experience working in business analytics relevant roles, demonstrates strong logical thinking & data analytics skill
-FMCG industry experience including strong working knowledge of pricing/promotion analytics, market/consumer insight, E-Commerce
-Strong communication skill; Comfortable with managing ambiguity; Experience of leading cross-function project is a plus
-Fluency in both written & spoken English
-Nice to have:
oKnowledge/experience with discrete choice modeling (Conjoint), consumer research, CRM
oFamiliarity with SQL / Python / R
