KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
· Help execute process and strategy improvements related to supply chain and operational improvement projects
· Accomplish complex studies requiring application of analytical and statistical methods and techniques
· Provide Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program management across an enterprise
· Conduct and synchronize enterprise-wide projects on moderate to complex problems related to Supply Chain operations that require As Is and To Be process models derived from root cause/ gap analysis
· Study trends in Business Transformation efforts and Continuous Process Improvement efforts to formulate recommendations to ensure Client Directorates and aligned with the supply chain enterprise
Qualifications:
· A minimum of two years of management consulting experience providing operational advisory services related to supply chain, cost reduction, and operational restructuring; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
· Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, operations analysis, or a related field from an accredited college/university Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
· Ability to assess, improve, and reconstruct the information, physical, and financial flows across the client's supply chain
· Deep knowledge of demand planning and replenishment, inventory optimization, logistics, transportation, distribution, and sales and operations planning
· Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior clients
· U.S. citizenship required
· Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time
