Manager / Assistant Manager, Trade \u0026 Customs

Job description

Responsibilities

- Provide advisory services to foreign and local clients on a wide range of trade and customs related issues such as customs valuation, customs classification, processing trade, credit management and AEO certification, FTA and origin, FTZ, customs audits/investigations, customs IT solution
- Assist in technical research, interview with client management, report drafting throughout the engagements
- Assist in communication with trade and customs related PRC government authorities and Chambers
- Assist in business development activities such as seminars, workshops and presentations

Requirements

- Degree holder in accounting, taxation, business, economics, law or other related disciplines, preferably holding professional qualification in customs and international trade
- Minimum three years' related advisory experience in big 4 accounting firms, international law firms or other consulting firms, or related experience in government authorities, Chambers and global companies
- Good industrial and customs network would be a plus
- Experience or background related to customs IT would be a plus
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A desire to pursue a career in the field of trade and customs
