Job Description

Job title: Digital Marketing Co-ordinator
Location: Watford- 1st 6 months to be based in Canary Wharf, London.
Working hours: 09:30 - 17:30
Role type: Permanent

The role will be based in our Watford office. For the first 6 months , some flexibility will be required as you’ll be based in our Head Office at Canary Wharf. This will help you work more closely with team colleagues and supported you to learn your new role and thrive. You will then move to be permanently based at KPMG’s Watford offices, with expectation that you’ll spend one day per week in London and one day working flexibly.

Our Watford offices are only a few minutes’ walk from Watford Junction train station, a central train hub offering fast-links to local cities such as Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Clapham Junction, plus regular trains to London (c. 20 mins travel time). The office is currently under-going a refurb, has a new on-site coffee-shop and a restaurant opening later this year. Staff parking also available and Watford Town Centre is c.10 minute walk away.

Working as part of our Brand and Attraction Team, a small team of marketing specialists within Recruitment, it’ll be your responsibility as a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator, to support the delivery of our recruitment marketing strategy with a primary focus on Student Recruitment attraction. You’ll develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, through social media, email marketing and website updates, across key recruitment channels such as KPMG’s career website, talent community, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. You’ll also support with the delivery, reporting and optimisation of media campaigns.

We advertise career opportunities over a diverse range of marketing channels, however digital and social media channels are increasingly important as they enable us to produce highly targeted campaigns to reach our strategic objectives. In doing so we need to ensure our strategies are smart, our materials are on brand and our content is authentic and engaging to connect with the right diverse top talent. Passionate and enthusiastic about all things digital and social, comfortable drafting content and with a creative eye, you will help design and deliver our digital and social media attraction activities to deliver real results.

Responsibilities:

- To provide support in delivery of digital marketing strategies for our Student Recruitment and to work with your manager/team to plan and deliver them.
- To draft copy, and creative for social and digital media channels, with the support of colleagues.
- Support in the development of creative concepts, inputting into creative briefings, and presenting.
- Identify new digital channels (that make sense) and drive initiatives via social media in line with the recruitment strategy.
- Social listening, and providing excellent customer service across social media channels. Being prompt and in line with the social media policy in all responses.
- To support in all digital marketing campaign reporting and analysis as well as website reporting and analysis.
- Engage and build strong relationships with internal staff and external agency suppliers, with the support of colleagues.
- Attend recruitment events to support the business in promoting KPMG opportunities.

Knowledge/Experience:

- Experience in digital/social media marketing techniques.
- Experience of writing copy for the web.
- Proven track record of building website membership or driving traffic to a site.
- PPC and paid social media marketing knowledge an advantage.
- Experience of using CMS an advantage.
- An understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) an advantage
- An understanding of HTML in relation to email marketing an advantage.
- Knowledge of reporting and analysing marketing data and some experience of tracking would be an advantage.
- Ability to create marketing communications such as emails, blogs, social comms etc.
- Experience of photography and video for marketing, projects is desirable, but not essential.

Skills:

- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, plus creative writing skills.
- Must have a good eye for detail.
- Able to analyse datasets and provide insights on the results.
- Confident in building strong relationships with stakeholders, with the support of colleagues.
- Strong computer skills (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- Photoshop an advantage.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach but able to work well in a closely knit team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and work efficiently against deadlines.
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic and international atmosphere.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree.
