Overview of the opportunity

As part of theBusinessEnablementServices group at KPMG in Canada, the Candidate Experience team is responsible for ensuring we have a best in class recruitment experience and a captivating candidate brand that is consistent and impactful across the country. Our goal is to create a positive, unforgettable experience at each stage of the candidate journey, and our work is just beginning!

As a key member of the Candidate Experience Brand team you'll be supported and inspired as you plan and execute our key national recruitment events and engagement programs. Our team is anchored at Bay Adelaide Centre, but as we have a flexible work environment, you could work remotely, from our Toronto North location or a combination of the above...let's chat about what works for you.

What you will do

·  You'll showcase and strengthen your creativity and project management skills as you lead a full suite of national recruitment events and engagement programs. These include our annual student conference, in-person business and innovation competitions, summer internship programs, global internships and much more!
·  In partnership with the recruitment leaders, you'll develop new programs and initiatives to attract emerging talent pools such as STEM talent
·  You'll lead the charge on all event and program development and logistics, including managing vendor relationships, running national planning team meetings, developing conference programming alongside the planning team, securing speakers, arranging travel and accommodation and much more!
·  You'll collaborate with your Candidate Experience Brand team members to create marketing materials, social media promotion strategies, website content, signage, conference materials, branded giveaways etc.
·  You'll support the national recruitment strategy executed by each of our regional recruitment teams, to drive a consistent candidate experience across KPMG in Canada.
·  You'll be encouraged to think and do differently, and supported to evolve our approach and your skillset to adapt to new technologies, market shifts and best practices.
What you bring to the role

·  A post-secondary education in marketing/event management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
·  A minimum of 3 years' experience in the execution of multiple, concurrent marketing programs
·  A track record for successfully managing large events with multiple stakeholders (on a national scale would be a plus!)
·  Enthusiasm, energy, creativity and curiosity for new ideas, technologies and marketing trends.
·  Experience organizing tech talent events and leveraging technology tools within events would be an asset
