Your opportunity
The Mall Luxury Outlets is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Finance team, based in our Milan office. The Financial Reporting Specialist will be actively involved in the monthly reporting closures for all TMLO legal entities. Additionally, she/he will contribute to the budgeting process and its revisions, ensuring timely and accurate financial analysis.
How you will contribute
· Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the statutory financial reporting package, in compliance with Group reporting principles.
· Collaborate with the Accounting team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the review of accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis vs. Budget/Forecast and prior year.
· Support consolidation activities, intercompany reconciliations and any other financial analysis supporting the company needs.
· Develop and enhance internal controls related to financial reporting.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders to collect financial data and ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
· Actively contribute to the creation of the Budget, Forecast, and Business Plan for the TMLO Group by challenging departmental figures and ensuring realistic scenarios.
· Continuously monitor and supervise Budget/Forecast performance, tracking all projects by department and analyzing variances against actual figures.
· Support the preparation of the monthly operational calls and Budget/Forecast review meetings.
· Provide financial insights and commentary to support management decision-making
· Support other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned.
· Support the Business Intelligence process of the Company and the evolution of the related function, according to the actual and future Company needs.
· Support the retail team in producing the monthly and weekly retail KPIs and business performance vs target and previous year, assuring an efficient periodical communication of reports to internal and external stakeholders according to the business guidelines and needs.
Who you are
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit
· Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems (e.g. Oracle NetSuite)
· Strong numerical, analytical, and conceptual skills with a strategic mindset
· Structured, process-oriented, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to teamwork
· High ethical standards, integrity, high level of discretion and full transparency
· Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and problem-solve
