ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear.

As WW Merchandise Planner RTW , you will play a pivotal role in building sales forecasts that will guide to manage reorders, inventory optimization and maximize profitability of RTW category to support merchandising strategy across regions and boutiques.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Collection Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Regional Buying and Merchandise planning teams to ensure assortment relevance, long-term business plans, and sales performance of global markets.

The scope of responsibility includes overseeing Women’s and Men’s Ready-to-Wear categories across both Retail and Digital channels from HQ perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

RTW MERCHANDISE SALES FORECAST

· 
Develop and refine seasonal, carry overs sales forecast liaises with historical trend and inventory flow by product, collection and region

· 
Lead and manage monthly forecast meeting with regional teams to ensure alignment with HQ forecasts and business goals

· 
Provide actionable insights based on product performance and forecast, investment levels, and seasonal curves

· 
Maintain and monitor forecast accuracy vs actual sales on key business drivers by region

· 
Collaborate with Retail and Collection Merchandising team to align on financial targets and assortment strategies

RTW COLLECTION PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

· 
Monitor business performance on global RTW business by collection, line, function, and regions

· 
Provide weekly / monthly reports related to key KPIs in merchandising department

· 
Support monthly Merchandise Planning meeting to provide actionable insights and reorder proposal to drive business decisions and react market opportunities or risk

REORDER PLANNING MANGEMENT

· 
Define the monthly needs on seasonal best-selling products and carry overs according to the forecast, sell-through, stock availability, and door mapping

· 
Work cross-functionally to support seasonal extensions, removals, and dynamic carry over product strategy adjustments

· 
Track product lifecycle and provide reorder planning for future strategies

· 
Maintain close collaboration with production team providing reorder planning & stock projections for long-term view and follow up delivery schedule for the optimal drop based on business opportunity

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

· 
Monitor stock levels across regions and channels to ensure optimal inventory allocation

· 
Proactively identify stock tension or overstocked SKUs and provide solutions to rebalance inventory

· 
Recommend stock rebalancing and replenishment strategies to sustain profitability and target inventory

CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

· 
Fluid communication with Collection, Retail merchandising team

· 
Work closely with Regional buying, Merchandise planning teams

· 
Instant exchanges on delivery with Production team and replenishment, stock optimization with Supply Chain department

PROFILE

· 
Graduate from business or engineering schools

· 
Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, finance ideally in retail or distribution environments.

· 
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategies

· 
Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint, planning software (e.g. Anaplan), and business intelligence tools

· 
Deep understanding of the product category and its performance drivers in a global retail context

· 
Attention to details and flexibility for adapting priorities

· 
Strong organizational and communication skills

· 
Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders

· 
Ability to work in a highly dynamic and demanding environment

· 
Fluent in English. Good level in French.
