SUMMARY ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear.

ROLE

The Assistant WW Merchandise Planning SHOES will be in charge of supporting all the activities of WW Merchandise planning SHOES department, based in Paris.

MISSIONS

COLLECTION PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

·  Monitoring performance on global SHOES business by collection
·  Providing weekly / monthly report related to key KPIs in merchandising department
·  Update key products ID / mapping
·  Support business analysis based on market trend

SUPPORT SHOES MERCHANDISING SALES FORECAST

·  Prepare for the monthly forecast view by SKU by Region according to the stores opening plan and product seasonality
·  Liaising with Collection and Retail assortments in the forecast tool
·  Monitoring seasonality on key business drivers
·  Monitoring forecast accuracy vs actual sales by regions
·  Define the monthly needs according to the forecast
·  Participate monthly forecast meeting with regions and support preparation

CENTRAL REORDERS AND FOLLOW UPS

·  Follow up global reorder and monitor performance closely for both seasonal /non-seasonal
·  Support seasonal/non-seasonal reorders opportunities ties with sales forecast , stock and production planning
·  Monitoring reorders delivery schedule for the optimal drop based on regional events and business opportunity  

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS

·  Fluid communication with collection, retail, digital merchandising
·  Instant communication and follow up with regional buying teams
·  Instant exchanges on delivery with production, and replenishment, stock optimization with supply chain department

PROFILE

·  Formation superior, Ecole de Commerce or experience in similar functions
·  Analytical mind and interest in figures linked to products and markets
·  Excellent skills of Excel and good knowledge of the rest Office pack
·  Strong attention to details
·  Ability to work in a highly dynamic and demanding environment
·  Flexibility for adapting priorities
·  Fluent English
