Kering Italy Finance Shared Services is currently seeking a Record to Report Accountant, who will report to our Retail Accountant Coordinator, to join our dynamic team in Scandicci.
Job Description
Your opportunity
You will be responsible to successfully manage Record to report activities related to Retail Italian companies including managing the lease accounting following IAS rules, managing the submission of invoice to customer according to company practices and preparing the INTRASTAT monthly declaration.
How you will contribute

Manage accounting records applicable to leases, assist with lease compliance reporting for Italian legal entities in the retail sector under IFRS 16
·
Record monthly lease entries, finalize account reconciliations, assist in setting up all new leases and validate lease data and attributes
·
Initiate lease payments and ensure that they are processed in a complete, accurate and timely manner
·
Prepare, record, verify and register customer payments and credit transactions
·
Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
·
Ensure weekly follow-up of overdue invoices, monitor overdue invoices in Accounts Receivable
·
Create and maintain procedural documentation and training materials
·
Assist the organisation with other quarterly and annual internal control processes
·
Collect relevant information to ensure timely submission of monthly INTRASTAT
Who you are
·
High school graduate, a university degree in economics will be considered a plus
·
Accountant with a former experience in a similar role
·
Knowledgeable about principles that govern the general and fiscal accounting of a company and of national and international accounting standards (IFRS)
·
Proactive and committed person, with analytical approach, able to regularly meet challenging deadlines and handle a high volume of tasks
·
Rigorous and organized individual able to work with autonomy, when needed
·
Effective and positive team player with excellent communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
·
Expert in using Microsoft Office tools with a strong command of Excel. The knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus
·
Fluent in Italian with a good command of English, both written and spoken
