We are currently seeking a Finance Accounting Temp who will report to our Finance Director based in our Bridgewater office.
How you will contribute
· Research and stay updated on state and local sales tax laws and regulations.
· Assist with the maintenance of sales tax records and documentation.
· Analyze sales data to identify potential tax liabilities and ensure proper reporting.
· Prepare and maintain sales tax exemption certificates.
· Assist with internal and external sales tax audits.
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate sales tax reporting.
· Assist with special projects related to sales tax compliance.
· Ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis for business leaders to evaluate their performance, including benchmarking and ROI analysis
Who you are
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
· 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a commission-based environment
· Proficiency in financial/business intelligence software, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and working with large data sets; experience with SAP and a commission management system is a plus
· Strong team player and excellent communicator with entrepreneurship autonomy and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments, extremely organized and detailed oriented
· Strongly focused on results and respectful of deadlines
