We are currently seeking an Events Intern as part of our North America Team based out of our New York city office, next to Times Square.
How you will contribute

· Assist the manager and the Head of Events in the planning and coordination of various sales and corporate events in the US and Canada
· Help manage event logistics, including venue scouting, catering, transportation arrangements, hotel rooming list (both for customers and colleagues)
· Assist the manager in creating event materials, such as programs, signage, briefing deck, etc
· Collaborate with team members (sample team, mktg team, salesteam, etc) to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
· Handle payment registration and processing by liaising closely with the finance team, ensuring accurate records and timely transactions.
· Provide training and guidance to external staff for major events, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
· If needed, attend events to provide on-site support.
· Conduct post-event evaluations/survey and prepare accurate reports.
· Assist the manager on other ad hoc requests, when needed.
Who you are
· At least 1 year of experience in organizing large-scale events
· Experience in luxury industry
· Strong working knowledge of Excel and PPT
· Highly organized with deep attention to details and accuracy
· Ability to work effectively under pressure
· Customer oriented
· Willingness to travel across US and Canada
· Able to work autonomously; self-starter with the ability to organize and manage own workload
· Resourceful, focused on problem-solving and achieving results
· Passionate and enthusiastic with a spirit of curiosity and innovation
· Team player, with an ability and willingness to support in other areas of the business as needed
