We are currently seeking an Accountant, who will report to Accounting Manager – O2C as part of our dynamic team in APAC.
Your opportunity
The accountant is able to perform any task within Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Process for Brands Finance. He/she is customer-oriented and autonomous, solves issues proactively and continuously seeks for improvements.
Job Description
How you will contribute
-Reconcile customer sales statement vs company efuture system sales
-Reconcile expenses charged by department store vs department store's contract
-Liaise with inventory control, brand store operation for any sales discrepancy
-Match bank collection to customer accounts in the U8 system(SIS)
-Reconcile and check the collection with 3rd party for ecommerce and post journals at the month-end closing
-Issue invoice for landlords/wholesalers on time
-Maintenance customer contact list and contracts
-Liaise with department store, brand operation for outstanding invoices
-Prepare related reports
-Assist in audit and other tasks assigned by supervisor
Who you are
Experience, business and technical skills
-2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position(prior experience in a SSC would be appreciate)
-Recognised professional qualification in accountancy
-Experience from prior work in an accounting department
-General knowledge of processes within Finance Function and good understanding of the receivables function
-Process knowledge associated with an ERP-application(AR&Cash Mgt module)
-Knowledge of Chinese accounting rules
-Good English skills would be appreciate
