Hard worker, team worker, multi-tasking and problem solving, the Stock Manager is a hands on key figure of the store, who is responsible for the management of the stock, and operational excellence of all BOH areas, necessary to increase sales and profitability of the selling floor.
Key Accountabilities
• Be fully responsible and accountable for all tasks, activities and projects related to back of house purposes
• Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments from and to the store, receiving merchandise and upload of the ASN/STS/ICT in the system (JDA)
• Design, implement and monitor constant improvements projects of the organization of the stock spaces within the store, in accordance with the operations team
• In charge of merchandise replenishment between back of house and selling floor, or between remote stockroom locations
• Manage all aspects of stock control: random inventories, negatives on hand, ticketing, price changes, consignments, holds and reservations, VIP & press requests
• Responsible and accountable for the good result of the annual stock take, and store’s shrinkage
• Handle packaging orders and uniforms logistics flow
• In charge of the logistics aspects of the after sale service
• Ensure BOH maintenance and H&S rules and regulations are respected at all times, fire exit are kept clear, and arising risks and hazards due to overstock situations
Key Requirements
• Previous management experience in warehouse /stock room environment.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Leadership
• Excellent knowledge and practice of managing inventories with ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
• Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Good product sensitivity and strong market and fashion trends knowledge
