Role Mission
The Licenses Retail Merchandiser is responsible, for Eyewear and Beauty which are the two categories in license with external partners, to organize the buying process of master orders for newness and the replenishing for carry over in the Gucci DOS and E-commerce direct network. On top of planning the sell-in for every season (main collections and new launches) and fashion initiatives (fashion shows and special projects), LRM is responsible to monitor the Beauty and Eyewear business and sell-out trends (on weekly and monthly basis) in order to optimize the balance between assortment and stock and to maximize sales growth across regions/channels.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Buying activities:
· Perform buying preparation analysis in terms of efficiency, avg price, sku target by function, store ranking
· Coordinate with Collection Merchandising in elaborating key seasonal messages and styles to be present in the core selection
· Coordinate master order activities and key assortments by region/channel to ensure a balanced global product mix, with proper segmentation in terms of complexity, pricing, deliveries, ADV
· Define Master Order quantities distribution by region/channel
· Coordinate buying process by region in order to properly prepare final review process
· Alignment post-buying with Collection Merchandising in order to share key investments and overall buying structure, in order to optimize the information sharing with VM
· Evaluate the right business potential for newness and carry over (by sku and by cluster) based on sell-out historical data and sell-out trends, in coordination with dedicated team for replenishment and planning.
Inventory activities
· Strictly manage the inventory in order to optimize stock level across region/channels/flagship doors and maximize sales
· Strictly manage, on weekly base, allocations from central bulk to regions
· Monitor month of supply and slow movers
· Analyze selling trends and highlights actions to regions/channels on reorders and cancellations
Sales Activities
· Control data analysis on daily base
· Maximize sales and results by region/channel through permanent collaborations with the regional buyers in order to better understand each market and exploit business opportunities
· Coordinate with the WW Merchandising team on product feedback and market needs
· Generate possible inputs in terms of VM and relocation of merchandise to be shared with both Collection Merchandising and the Merchandising Manager
Market Intelligence (additional)
· Elaborate and consolidate inputs coming from regions/channels on business trend
· Stimulate and structure the exchange of information from regional teams in terms of product needs, competitor offers, through constant follow up and market visit
Key Requirements
· Strong product sensitivity in Eyewear and Beauty categories
· Experience in large volume distribution, both physical and online
· Fluent in Italian and English
· Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
· Analytical capabilities and numeric attitude
· Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
· Successful studies in business management, majoring in business administration or data analytics
· At least 3-5 years of experience in similar contest, mainly for direct retail network
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
· Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong passion for Merchandising
· Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
