Summary
Job Family Group Description - Finance:
Gathers jobs supporting the business through financial services, such as business planning and performance analysis, risk management, tax and administration.
Job Family Description -Business Analysis and Controlling:
Ensures the development and implementation of financial controlling standards and processes. Supports our business by performing financial analysis. Participates in closing budgets and accounts procedures.
Sub-Job Family Description - Inventory control:
Analyses, forecasts and prepares inventory planning in order to optimise and control inventory stock levels, and meet our customer service objectives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for handling the daily inventory activity for inbound & outbound
· Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies
· Prevent and monitor inventory discrepancies and ensure they can be reconciled
· Manage store transfer and stock adjustment effectively
· Manage return of stock
· Monitor the stores cycle count and highlight and address abnormality
· Perform periodic stock-take and investigate the discrepancies and post the results
· Review the shrinkage and liaise with the respective department to in place preventive measure to reduce stock loss
· Prepare and report the shrinkage to local management
· Handle all price events matters
· Ensure that discount and price override applied are in line with the company policy
· Ensure obsolete stocks in store are returned timely and locations are clean-off accordingly
· Resolve any inventory issues in a timely manner
· Review and analyze the region inventory reports submitted to regional and corporate, highlight and address any abnormalities
· Using your extensive Excel skills, build and optimize current ways of working through automation
· Other Ad Hoc projects or responsibilities as required
Key Requirements
· Accounting/Inventory experience of 2-3 years within a multinational environment, preferably in luxury goods, FMCG, trading or retail sector; CPA
· Previous experience working in an Inventory Control position in Head Office for a luxury fashion house
· Experience in stock takes/cycles counts an advantage
· Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Hands on approach to problem solving and the ability to work under pressure
· Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize initiatives in a fluid and dynamic sometimes ambiguous environment
· Strong computer skills with experience on ERP (SAP is a plus)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Word) – including VLOOKUP, Pivot & Macro
