Summary
Role mission
The candidate will report to the Global Data Integration Coordinator which acts as supervisor of Data Hub implementation, a comprehensive Data Platform enabling Data Integration for Gucci.
The Data Engineer is responsible for developing the data flows of the IT systems to support production, their ordinary management and their monitoring.
Validate the data integration flow by defining application and systemic test scenarios.
Data Engineer has the task of keeping aligned the data catalog relating to the services and documenting the new flows.
The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing the data sources according to the requests of the reference Business, identifying the relationships between the data objects of the systems concerned.

Key Accountabilities
· Analyze and assemble large and complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
· Data quality, modeling and integration of them to ensure optimal data extraction, transformation and loading
· Analyze a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS "big data" technologies that aim to integrate industrial systems
· Evaluate the impacts and estimate the commitment for the realization of new integrations
· Support the definition of technological choices taking into account the application context
· Interfacing and collaborating with the different figures of the internal and external teams,
suppliers, project manager and reference business
· Manage and monitor the planning of procedures in project activities
Key Requirements
· 3+ years working experience in IT projects, data Integration & modeling
· Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related
· Problem solving and result orientation
· Flexibility and passion
· Organizational and management skills of work peaks
· Relational skills to interact with internal contacts and interface with external suppliers
· A good knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes will be considered a plus
Technical Skills:
· Excellent knowledge of SQL programming language
· Advanced experience in object-oriented programming (Java, Phyton, C ++, etc ..)
· Experience of the main big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
· Experience with using Cloudera platform: HDFS, Hive, Flume, Sqoop or Oozie
· Knowledge of use and configuration of one or more of the following platforms: Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR and AWS cloud services
· Knowledge in the use of stream-processing systems: Spark-Streaming, etc.
