Your opportunity
We are currently looking for a “Global Junior Distribution Planner” to join the Distribution Planning team to support and collaborate with the S&OP and Demand teams to establish best practices and state-of-the-art developments and promote excellence and continuous improvement practices in all our operations.
You will have also the opportunity to be involved in several projects that aim to improve some important Supply Chain planning processes, working directly with the S&OP, Planning and Merchandise as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with Kering Operation team. The position is based in Milan.
Employment will be through a temporary agency contract.
How you will contribute
We expect you to be motivated and proactive. You will work collaboratively with team members in the Distribution Planning and S&OP areas and actively participate in discussions and decisions:
· Reviews and recommends improvements to the distribution parameters (stock coverage and supply chain reactivity)
· Makes recommendations to optimize Inventory efficiency and monitor the results
· Execute product distribution and daily replenishment according to the sales
· Collaborates with Demand planning department to determine shortages and excess of stock in the central warehouse
· Tracks deliveries from production checking stock availability in the central warehouse
· Participating in the continuous improvement of supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for optimization
Who you are
· Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related field
· At least 1/2 years of experience in Planning preferably in a retail/ luxury environment
· Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
· Fluent in English
· Passion for numbers and fashion products
· Organized and detail focused individual
· Problem solver with a can-do attitude
· Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with different teams
· Team work oriented
· Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
