ABOUT US Founded by Spanish-born Cristobal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the iconic French fashion house defined the concept of modernity and elegance through the mastery of techniques and the use of innovative fabrics. With the appointment of Demna artistic director of the collections in 2015, he continues to uphold the vision of Cristobal Balenciaga through his exquisite techniques, masterful cuts and by constantly pushing boundaries. Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, and eyewear for women, subsidiary of Kering. We are currently seeking a Retail Performance & CRM Intern who will report to the Retail Performance Manager, Americas.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity will provide you with insight into retail analysis and retail management in the luxury fashion industry as well as an understanding of our corporate culture and business practices.  You will work closely with our Retail Performance team to gain hands-on experience optimizing business reporting and elevating performance in our retail stores.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Retail Performance:

·  Support Retail Performance with business reports, sales performance analysis, retail presentations, & general insights
·  Assist with special project communications for key corporate stakeholders and retail leadership.
·  Assist with cross-departmental reports and projects.
·  Monitor weekly and monthly KPI reports and performance trackers.
·  Organize the creation of the monthly retail calendar.
·  Assist with ad-hoc reporting and recap decks.

CRM :

·  Support Client Engagement with CRM Data, Tools, and Insights
·  Assist with data quality management activities
·  Ad-hoc seasonal projects + support on in-store activations as needed

WHO YOU ARE

·  Strong communication skills, both oral and written 
·  Positive and proactive attitude 
·  Able to work in a fast-paced environment 
·  Detail-oriented and task-driven 
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
·  SQL knowledge highly preferred
·  Strong time management and organizational skills 
·  Able to work in our NYC corporate office 
·  Able to receive academic credit 

COMPENSATION

·  $16.00 per hour + academic credit
·  Must be able to receive academic credit to be eligible
