  • Marketing

Job description

About us Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique. Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. The brand’s unprecedented interactions with the expanding digital realm, material developments, and today’s social responsibilities keep it at the forefront of modernity. In 2021, Balenciaga’s 50th Couture collection—the House’s first since its founder retired in 1968 – reintroduces a standard of cutting-edge elegance. From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director. In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga. We are currently in search of an experienced LG Sales Merchandiser to bring forward the Leathergoods Merchandising activities. Reporting to the LG Sales Merchandising Manager you will play a key role in delivering the LG Product Strategy.

Your opportunity

As LG Sales Merchandiser you will lead the management of special projects, overseeing exclusive product launches, through OTB set up, project implementation, follow up with production and distribution and collection of feedbacks from the region, and will participate to the central WW merchandising team in the regular annual activities: seasonal buying, inventory management, sales analysis, auto replenishment strategy and following up on regional needs.

How you will contribute

·  Analyze product performance in stores using qualitative and quantitative data, optimize stock, and participate in monthly Retail reviews to understand the sales performance.

·  Define product assortments, recommend strategies based on store typology and global strategy, contribute to Retail buying processes, and manage worldwide bulk orders.

·  Liaise with various departments (Collection Merchandising, Demand Planning, Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Training, Retail Excellence, Communication) on product launch strategies, in-store assortments, and communication plans, ensuring alignment and effective implementation.
