The Marketing Associate position will support the development, execution, and optimization of business strategies and marketing plans globally, driving share growth. The Marketing Associate will lead specific initiatives, contingent upon final placement on either a Global Product Team, Global Innovation & Pipeline Team, or the Global ACUVUE® Experience team.

·  Forecasting – Identifying dollar, volume and share objectives, tracking progress towards those objectives, and quickly communicating potential gaps and identifying gap closers. Also, participating in S&OP process to ensure appropriate forecast management (planning & supply)
·  Health of the Business – Measuring and assessing marketplace business results (brand market share, sales and competitive performance) to develop understanding of brand performance and shape near and long-term, insight-driven brand growth strategies
·  Budgeting – Managing marketing investment both strategically (how money should be spent) and operationally (opening/closing of POs, development of agency SOWs, management of agency/vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to allocated budget) with overall accountability for the effectiveness of products and services purchased.
·  Pricing and Packaging – Gaining an understanding of marketplace dynamics to help shape/optimize pricing & packaging configurations to best compete in the market
·  Positioning, Claims & Innovation – Collaborating with and influencing regional marketing partners in the development of brand positioning, and claims and innovation pipelines; owning premier delivery of new innovations to key global markets (including new products, packaging configurations and solutions, expanded parameters, etc.)
·  Communications/Promotion – Building brand equity among consumers, shoppers and professionals in key global markets, across all the channels in which Johnson & Johnson Vision conducts business, through development, execution, measurement and optimization of professional and consumer media, as well as surround-sound communications and other marketing programs.
·  Cross-Functional Leadership/Partnering – Collaborate across brand teams, experience teams, and multiple cross-functional partners (e.g. professional affairs, sales, sales training, supply & operations, finance) to deliver fully integrated programs, and ultimately deliver financial commitments
·  Globally Collaborate – Collaborate with regional counterparts to understand local insights, helping to shape global strategies and co-create globally-lead asset development
·  Participate in recruiting of future talent pipeline and play an active role in building the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care credo-based culture and community

Qualifications

·  Completing a B. A./B. S. Degree from an accredited college or university with graduation dates between January 2019 and August 2019.
·  Highly motivated individual with demonstrated strategic, analytical, communication, and social skills with a strong academic and extracurricular track record are required
·  A keen marketing curiosity and strong leadership skills are required in our entrepreneurial, fast-paced work environment
·  Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, uncover insights, develop insight-driven solutions, and deliver results required
·  Thorough knowledge of personal computer software including Microsoft Office with intermediate proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel required
·  A major in marketing/related business discipline or relevant experience required
·  Minimum 3. 0 cumulative GPA
·  Previous co-op or internship experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Healthcare related field highly preferred
·  Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required
·  Ability to travel approximately 20% both internationally or domestically required
