About the role
Drive strategic commercial success by leading the performance measurement, reporting, and cutting-edge analytical insight across all high-impact Value (Pricing and Promotions) and Secondary Space initiatives. You will be the crucial link, transforming complex commercial performance data into clear, actionable, and timely recommendations that directly shape business strategy, ensuring the delivery of commercial objectives and an optimised return on investment (ROI). Leading to ensure decisions are faster and better because of the story the data tells the role requires excellent “storytelling skills” with the ability to communicate insight with clarity & impact. Furthermore, this is a key people leadership role, where you will mentor and develop a talented team in advanced data analysis and commercial reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities, Skills and Experience

Salary - £76,900 - £140,000

Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.

Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aim for xx day per week in the office to connect.

Location - Bracknell Head Office; The team aim for 3 days per week in the office to connect.

Key responsibilities
· Value & Space Performance Reporting: Own the end-to-end reporting cycle for value activity (pricing and promotions) and secondary space execution. Ensure all core commercial dashboards are accurate, timely, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
· Analytical Insight: Lead the deep-dive analysis of value and secondary space performance, identifying key drivers, risks, and commercial opportunities. Produce actionable insight to support secondary space performance and post-event analysis.
· Data Governance & Tools: Ensure consistency and integrity in data sources and reporting methodologies. Identify and deliver tangible improvements in reporting tools and processes to drive efficiency and reduce manual effort.
· People Management & Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to Reporting Analyst(s), managing workload and supporting development, performance, and engagement.
· Stakeholder Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with Commercial, Finance, Customer, Merchandising, Value and Trade Planning, providing confident guidance on performance metrics and insight findings leading to actionable recommendations.
Essential skills/experience you’ll need
· Degree level or equivalent level - Experience with specialist retail/FMCG analytical platforms and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).
· Very strong analytical skills and critical thinking
· Very strong commercial/retail analysis experience, specifically in pricing, promotions, or trade planning.
· Financial acumen, including understanding of ROI and commercial P&L drivers.
· Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
