The Advanced Marketing Team is offering an Internship / M.Sc. Thesis on the topic of

“Economic Analysis and Customer Insight Generation on Small Grain Seeding Systems”

 

Seed costs are increasing due to advanced coating and seed sorting, hybrid breeding activities, and highly specialized varieties. These facts requiring significant improvements of seed placement into the soil. There are multiple technical solutions available to target lower seed rates at improved placement in and between the rows but are characterized through different advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the Master Thesis shall focus on European customer acceptance of alternative seeding solutions as well as the opportunistic and accompanying economic and personal preferences.

In this position, you will work with the global team and primarily target Small Grains, Canola and selected row crops.

 

The position is targeted for an internship with a Master thesis connected (3+6 months). This opportunity is available as of November 2019. The working location will be Kaiserslautern (Germany) in the Advanced Marketing department.

 

Your profile should include: 

·  Student (m/f/d) in Agriculture, Crop Science, or similar fields of study
·  Profound knowledge in Agronomy and Economy
·  Basic knowledge on Technical Solutions
·  Knowledge in statistics and field studies
·  Communicative Competence
·  Good understanding of Farming Processes
·  Ideally well-versed in machine handling
·  Well-versed in MS Office and R-Studio
·  Good English language skills are required, other additional languages improve your profile
·  Driving Licenses B, (BE, T)
