Deere & Company is seeking a Quality Engineer, PDP Weld in Ankeny, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Weld Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related field plus 4 years related experience. Must have 6 years of experience in each of the following: evaluate CMM / Leica Laser Tracking dimensional reports using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and schematic interpretation through Kotem SmartProfile software; conduct APQP/PPAP on manual and robotic GMAW/GMAW-P processes per AWS D14.3 specifications for structural agricultural weldments; coordinate weld process per WPS/ PQR AWS B2.1 Standard and meet quality requirements per AWS D14.3 Agricultural Equipment; implement process controls strategies on welding with focus on mistake proofing, sensors, Lincoln Weld Sequencer, or similar weld monitoring applications. Up to 25% domestic and international travel required to Deere factories.
