ZARA USA SEEKING A PARALEGAL BASED IN NYC!

Job Description : The Paralegal's primary responsibility is to provide general support to the Legal Department for Zara USA, Inc. and other brands of the Inditex Group portfolio in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

Assists with corporate secretarial functions (e.g., preparing corporate resolutions and meeting minutes).

Manage and maintain corporate books and business filing databases

Assist drafting, reviewing, and proofreading commercial agreements/contracts

Respond to subpoena requests in a timely manner

Liaise with customer service department on customer service matters

Conduct legal research as needed

Create presentations in PowerPoint with embedded media, and compile presentation and training materials

Desired Skills & Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years relevant paralegal experience in the area of corporate law

Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required

Solid knowledge of legal terminology and principles particularly in the area of retail real estate and corporate law

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point are essential)

Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work on cross-functional projects with international teams

Initiative to identify problems and opportunities to be proactive

Strong organizational and time management skills

Quick learner, able to work in a fast paced environment

Flexibility and a problem solving attitude

Ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedules.
