The Graphic Communication team is responsible for ensuring all graphic communication in and outside the IKEA store and complies with IKEA visual and copy identity guidelines.
The team have the exciting challenge of presenting the uniqueness of the IKEA Brand and distance the IKEA store from the competition. The Graphic Communication team develops and implements efficient and effective store communication that supports the customer journey.

The Graphic Communication team in Delft is currently looking for a Senior Digital Graphic Co-worker with as specialism a strong digital background. As a person you are passionate about the possibilities of digital to delight and inspire the Delft store to rapidly adopt new digital products.

What will you do?
As a Senior Digital Graphic Co-worker, you are part of the Communication & Interior Design department. You will work together with all functions within the store to create a great digitally supported shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

·  Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing on the local market.
·  Overseeing and supporting the implementation of the complete range of digital store communication.
·  Ensuring IKEA digital communication is clear, consistent, understandable, uncluttered and correctly placed according to graphics regulations.
·  Using your digital graphic design skills, the IKEA Concept, and IKEA visual identity to create and implement digital graphic solutions that support commercial priorities and showcase the IKEA visual and verbal identity.
·  Drive and lead brainstorming, design sprints and other co-creative design methods to bring the IKEA Delft digital Design strategy to life.
·  Working with stakeholders to ensure content and tone of voice alignment in order to deliver excellent and unique IKEA digital experiences across the store.

Who are you?
With a strong eye for detail and aesthetics, you are driven by a passion for home furnishings and people’s lives at home, and conveying messages in a meaningful and memorable way.

·  You have strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and influence others across many areas of the business.
·  You are able to prioritise and organise your workload.
·  You have a practical hands-on approach to your responsibilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment to tight deadlines.
·  You are driven by challenging existing ways of working and finding new solutions in order to reach and exceed goals.
·  You have previous experience working in Digital Graphic Design with a strong focus on digital production.
·  Proficiency in the Adobe Creative package, particularly After effects and Premiere, would be preferred.
·  Preferably experienced of working in large, complex organisations focused on connecting digital design to business performance.
·  At least 3 years of experience in Digital Content Strategy.
·  A strong Digital Design portfolio.
·  have the potential and wish to grow.

Availability  
At IKEA the customer is in focus. Our customers visit the store at various times, also in the evening, weekends, during national holidays and during school holidays. We expect that you will be present when the customers visits us. Of course, you have an impact on your schedule yourself as well.
