Who you are
• Being customer oriented you see the customer first and consider the impact on the customer when taking decisions
• You enjoy applying tactical and operational approach for analysing business opportunities from customer perspective and inspired by challenging situations
• For this role you should have work experience in Logistics, Economics, business administration or relevant
• You have working experience from supply chain on operational and/or tactical level
• You have experience of project management and working in a fast changing environment
• You are comfortable in communication and presenting in English and have a proven analytical and numerical skills
• You have strong computer skills and very high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• You have knowledge and experience of meeting and interacting with various business partners and are self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• You bring with you experience in the developing and improving ways of working and gets energized by problem solving
• You have a strong interest for Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service
• You have the ability to understand and communicate financial impact; applying financial knowledge to achieve organisational goals and objectives
• You have experience of indirect and interdependent leadership
• As a person you have a strong collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organisation and use your good communication and negotiation skills
• You possess the capability to translate business and customer needs into development initiatives
A day in your life with us
With focus on our expansion projects:
• You will support the development of the Ikea network and, as part of the project groups, you will actively contribute to the planning and implementation of new network capacities
• You contribute both directly and in collaboration with your colleagues with a customer-centric and collaborative approach to the success and development of the service organization and beyond the entire customer fulfillment
• As a project group member, you have the service glasses on and thus ensure that you create the right conditions in the organization to enable the growth agenda. and you are the main point of contact for all service fulfillment issues
• You are responsible for the preparation of needs analyses
• You are responsible for the evaluation of historical data as a basis for decisions on future fulfillment solutions
• You are responsible for the implementation of the Customer Fulfillment Sustainability Agenda for Service Fulfillment
• Your goal is to ensure all necessary capacities and resources in the service fulfillment network and thus the shortest possible lead times
• Through your analyses and participation in the project groups, you will ensure operational and quality excellence within the framework of service fulfilment on the market
• You contribute to the negotiation of cost development of the service fulfillment function through your work
• With knowledge and expertise, you will contribute to optimal omnichannel development and tendering activities, as well as to all matrices, global initiatives and competence networks
• You support the work of the operations specialists with relevant input on IT solutions to ensure that IT solutions are maintained and updated
About this work area
This job is located in our Service Office/ Head Office of IKEA Germany in Hofheim-Wallau between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main. This role requires frequent travelling.
