The hotel's Palm Beach Club offers two floodlit tennis courts, a 25-metre olympic size pool, a leisure pool, a fully equipped fitness center, sauna, jacuzzi and easy access to the beach. Local sites of interest include the Grand Mosque, Opera House and Amouage Perfume Factory.
Your day to day
• Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares report.• Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.• Tracks room and F&B sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data• Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data• Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt• Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases• Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests• Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.• Assist in planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns.• Using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications• Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.• Understanding the product as per IHG brand standards• Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.• Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign.• Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.• Create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing• Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships• Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns• Support the marketing director in delivering agreed activities• Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio• Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts• Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns• Source and secure sponsorship• Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots• Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials• Maintain and update customer databases • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups• Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
What we need from you
Diploma orequivalent qualifications in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Managementdesired, and a minimum of one year of relevant Sales experience in Hospitalityor a related service industry. Expected to possess the following skills: • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and techniques• Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates and marketing programmes• Excellent PC skills (including MS Office)• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders
