The Role

As our Assistant Meeting & Events Operations Manager, your role will include:

·  Support, manage and develop the Meeting and Events team to reach their potential and deliver an intuitive service
·  Ensure each event set up meets the customer needs and take responsibility for the delivery distinctive events
·  Be involved in the meeting & greeting of clients and pre-event meetings for functions regarding final details
·  Be a key point of contact for all meetings and events when on duty and allocate responsibility where appropriate
·  Work with the M&E Operations Manager and M&E Kitchen to ensure all events receive a fantastic food and drink offering
·  Conduct regular departmental training to up skill the team
·  Develop strong relationships with key clients to retain repeat business

·  Outstanding planning and organisational skills
·  Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets
·  Flexibility to respond to a range of different situations
·  Be a highly-motivated individual who can demonstrate success at this level, ideally someone who has worked in this or a similar role within a 5 star luxury hotel
