As the HR Manager you assist in administration of programs and events to foster a positive work environment for all employees and support and administer the employee satisfaction survey in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources. You may facilitate training and development programs for employees and assist in coaching managers to create and maintain a work environment with high morale and productivity. You may conduct the new employee orientation to familiarize employees with Company standards, policies, procedures, rules and other employee programs. He/She will support the overall objectives of the hotel and promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Your day to day
As the Assistant Director of HR, you must administer programs and events to foster a positive work environment for all employees and also administer the employee satisfaction survey in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources. You may facilitate training and development programs for employees and assist in coaching managers to create and maintain a work environment with high morale and productivity. You may lead hotel's efforts in Talent Acquisition, hourly recruitment and performance management. Also administer all Company standards, policies, procedures, rules and other employee programs. He/She will support the overall objectives of the hotel and promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
What we need from you
Requirements include a high school diploma plus 2 years related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred. You will need a basic knowledge of Microsoft Computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., and Human Resources/payroll systems with ADP/Timesaver experience preferred. A Professional HR designation (PHR, SPHR or other) is preferred. You must speak fluent English with additional languages preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
