Marketing Planning Manager – Food Warehouse

Purpose of the role:  

Taking responsibility for defining and maintaining the marketing plan for The Food Warehouse. Identifying key trading opportunities based on the customer calendar, products and promotions. Working with the broader Marketing Department to create relevant messaging and content to further define the market position of the brand, identifying hero products and developing relevant promotions across all marketing channels.

In addition to The Food Warehouse brand, the role will also provide the opportunity to develop and work on projects for Iceland and Iceland / The Food Warehouse shared-brand activity.

Key Accountabilities:

·  Maintain the Food Warehouse Marketing Plan Calendar
·  Work with Buying and Sales teams to establish key FWH products and promotions
·  Maintain a rolling document compiling all FWH bespoke activity
·  Liaise with all functions of the Marketing Department to ensure all FWH activity is on track
·  Write succinct and accurate briefs including all detail to ensure content meets requirements
·  Working closely with wider Marketing teams across PR, Social, Comms, New Stores, POS & Design
·  Collating product information and creative assets for briefs
·  Checking legal implications of activity
·  Managing deadlines, critical paths and schedules, liaising with all relevant teams to ensure they are aware of deadlines and current status.
·  Reviewing competitor activity
·  Assisting in campaign wash ups
·  Working with the team to manage internal sign off process across Buying, Legal, Supply Chain and the wider marketing team
·  Assisting with photography briefing where required
·  Proof all advertising activity to ensure information is accurate and legal
·  Where required, support with any assigned TV, VOD, VOL, Audio campaigns, from briefing through to adverts on air, including external agency liaison, scheduling, asset coordination and script substantiation; ensuring all elements are delivered accurately on time and within agreed budget.
·  Raise purchase orders and keep a clear record of expenditure against budget.
·  Liaise with other departments across the business and collate and share key information with the team
·  Keeping up to date on all Marketing Planning information cascades and adapting activity in line with any changes
·  Contribute towards ad hoc marketing activity

Experience:

·  Experience in developing and delivering Marketing Plans
·  Experience in maintaining rolling documents compiling all Marketing activity
·  Presentation experience
·  Stakeholder management experience
·  Experience in project managing marketing activity
·  Experience working with multiple marketing functions
