Duties and Responsibilities of the role
As Senior Pastry Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your pastry section, ensuring the delivery of high-quality desserts, baked goods, and sweet creations that delight our guests.
· Prepare and present pastry items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
· Innovate and contribute to seasonal menu development with creative pastry ideas.
· Monitor quality across all stages of pastry production, from mise en place to final plating.
· Manage stock and ordering for your section, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimising waste.
· Ensure all pastry equipment and tools are clean, well-maintained, and safely stored.
· Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
· Mastery of pastry and baking techniques with demonstrated experience in fine dining or luxury hotel operations.
· Strong sense of aesthetics and refined palate, with an ability to balance flavor, texture, and presentation.
About You
You have proven experience in a professional pastry kitchen, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment. You're confident managing a pastry section independently, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for patisserie. A collaborative team player, you thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering exceptional pastry creations.
