(SALES) EVENTS PLANNING TRAINEE

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a (Sales) Events Planning Trainee per September 2025!

As a (Sales) Events Planning Trainee, you are part of the Sales Team together with international, passionate and fun colleagues who like to work hard and play hard. You will be guided by our Sales Coordinators, Executives, Managers and our Director of Sales to get the most out of this exciting opportunity.
The starting date is flexible and can be discussed together.

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant & Bar. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure.

Responsibilities

You support the sales department of the hotel – with a specific focus on Meetings & Events.

·
You assist in making sure all administrative tasks are handled in a correct manner;

·
You monitor and evaluate local, national, and international trends and competition to make sure Hyatt Place remains ahead of the market;

·
You liaise and work closely with the related operational departments ensuring guests' requests and expectations are being met;

·
You support the sales executive during the complete sales cycle with market research, prospecting, site inspections, negotiations and preparing proposals;

·
You support the sales executive with account management of the existing clients;

·
You assist sales colleagues responsible for other segments on their day-to-day tasks.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications

· 
You are enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelor's program in the Netherlands; Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Tourism & Leisure Management;

· 
You are eligible to perform your internship in the Netherlands;

· 
You are fluent in English;

· 
You are looking for a full-time internship;

· 
You are pro-active, a natural planner and customer-focused;

· 
You have an enthusiastic and caring attitude;

· 
You thrive through the buzz of working in a dynamic team and in a great hotel.
