Reservations Intern
Stage BELGIUM
Job description
Opened in May 2025, The Standard, Brussels marks an exciting new chapter for The Standard as our third European property. Located in the city's vibrant Northern Quarter, the hotel brings our signature blend of bold design, culture and unconventional hospitality to the heart of Belgium's capital.
With 180 guestrooms, 20 residences, a striking greenhouse-style lobby, vibrant dining and bar experiences, and a rooftop restaurant, bar and garden, The Standard, Brussels is a destination where food, music, art and culture come together. Playful, sophisticated and always unexpected, it's anything but standard.
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of one of Europe's most exciting lifestyle hotels? Here's your chance to find out. We're looking for a Reservations Intern who's ready to bring fresh energy, curiosity and a passion for hospitality to our team. From creating those all-important first impressions to helping maximise every booking opportunity, this is your chance to gain real experience and be part of something extraordinary.
Your role
As our Reservations Intern , you'll join our Revenue & Reservations team, gaining hands-on experience in the commercial and operational side of a vibrant lifestyle hotel. You'll discover how reservations, guest service and revenue strategies come together to create exceptional experiences while driving the hotel's success.
You'll support daily reservations operations, handling booking enquiries, preparing offers, processing reservations, amendments and cancellations, and ensuring guest information is accurately maintained. You'll also assist with group bookings, room availability, inventory controls and the preparation of arrival and reservations reports for other departments.
Working closely with our Revenue & Reservations Manager, you'll gain exposure to pricing strategies, demand forecasting, competitor analysis and distribution systems. You'll help monitor booking trends, maintain rates and promotions, and learn how commercial decisions influence hotel performance.
This isn't your typical internship. You'll develop valuable skills in reservations, revenue management and guest communications, learning from experienced hospitality professionals while discovering the commercial thinking behind a successful lifestyle hotel.
We're looking for someone with personality, curiosity and enthusiasm. Someone who enjoys working with people and numbers, takes pride in the details and isn't afraid to ask questions, share ideas and embrace the unexpected. After all, we're anything but standard.
